GATE is providing one on one mentorship for trans, gender diverse and intersex activists to strengthen key organizational skills
Are you a trans, gender diverse, or intersex person actively involved in LGBT or TGDI-led organizations? Would you like support in strengthening your key organizational skills?
Don’t miss this unique opportunity! Anwar Ogrm, our Movement Building Lead, will be offering individualized mentorship upon booking, with limited availability. New slots will be made available on a monthly basis.
How does it work?

- Simply book a slot using the button below, and availability is displayed in the calendar when you click on the link.
- These 60-min sessions will be an opportunity to assess how GATE can best support your organization, address one targeted capacity building need, and provide support in the form of mentorship, resources, or contacts.
Areas of support provided can include:
- Community organizing: community building; community event, and facilitation; community needs assessment; conflict resolutions; membership management; networking
- Organizational development: fundraising and grant writing; evaluation and monitoring; human resources and team building; leadership strengthening; project management; safety, security, and well-being; strategic planning.
Book a slot:
Slots are available initially until 25th of September. This is done on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited availability. All consultations are free; GATE will never charge activists for this engagement.
After the mentorship session, you will be sent a short feedback form. We will be using this information to improve these sessions in the future, so we ask that you give us your honest feedback!
