How can you support?
UN Trans Advocacy Week is a joint initiative that provides a platform for trans issues at the United Nations. It offers a unique opportunity for trans and gender diverse activists to have their voices heard at the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The Global Trans Health Pre-Conference will take place prior to the AIDS Conference 2024 in Munich. It will bring together medical professionals, researchers, advocates, and policymakers to create a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation to improve the health and well-being of trans and gender diverse communities on a global scale.
Your support will provide activists with the opportunity to engage at the international level with key stakeholders, have their voices and issues heard within global forums, and enable the connection between global actions and decisions with activities at the national and regional levels to ensure that trans and gender diverse communities are not left behind in the human rights and health responses.
Your generosity will help to fund:
- visa application processes
- travel and accommodation costs
- daily subsistence expenses
Small Organizational Grants ranging from $3,000 to $50,000 are provided by GATE directly to trans, gender diverse, and intersex-led organizations.
