This global, diverse, cross-regional event discusses the conclusions of the Independent Expert on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity’s two reports on gender and continues the discussions from an initial side event at the 47th Human Rights Council.
It brings together State representatives and civil society members, including women and LGBTI human rights defenders, to speak to the challenges and opportunities created by the crises we face today and to share reflections on the importance of inclusive and intersectional feminist LGBTI mobilization.
