Trans men, trans masculine persons, and gender diverse persons assigned female at birth (AFAB) have been historically excluded from HIV policy and programming.
As a result, this community is largely ignored in HIV research, data collection, and prevention efforts. The inclusion of trans men in the HIV response is vital for meeting global targets and ending HIV as a public health threat.
In line with this year’s World AIDS Day theme – Let Communities Lead, GATE, in collaboration with the Trans Men and HIV Working Group, has developed a Policy Brief and a Factsheet focused on strengthening and generating knowledge to further the engagement of trans men in the global HIV response
Join us on 28 November at 16:00 CET / 10:00 EST for our World AIDS Day webinar to find out how you can effectively include Trans Men in the Global HIV Response.
