AIDS 2024 Conference provides an international platform to showcase how communities around the world are leading the HIV response.
Community-led interventions are highly effective and can make a huge difference to marginalized communities in accessing HIV services. However, long-term sustainable funding is needed for these interventions in order to ensure an end to HIV.
AIDS 2024 provides an opportunity for communities to raise their issues in front of researchers, policymakers and funders and showcase what communities on the ground are doing. This enables trans and gender diverse communities to push for the inclusion of community-led responses in HIV interventions and funding.
