GATE is excited to share an interesting learning opportunity: R.J. Huneke, author of ANTS WAKING, will be offering his storytelling and creative writing talent at the service of our communities by delivering a free workshop titled: “Use Your Storytelling Voice! Creative Writing Workshop”.
For trans and gender diverse people, creative writing and storytelling can be both resistance and liberation: a way to tell our truths, imagine new worlds, and ensure our voices are heard!
With this workshop you’ll learn how to channel your inner voice and give emotions to powerful prose. There are key elements to storytelling, and we will study the use of metaphor, conflict, world-building, and character creation. No matter the genre or length of your story, you can harness your style in a way to make your words be remembered! You will also learn about different authors’ processes and how to craft your own tales of intrigue together.
This workshop is for any level writer, beginners and published writers. If you want to tell a better story, you are in the right place.

Held online on 9 October from 15:00 to 17:00 pm CEST. Registration is mandatory.
The workshop will be held in English and GATE will provide AI interpretation so that you can follow in your own language.
