The Nicaraguan Association of Transgender Women (ANIT) is an organization of transgender women from Nicaragua who seek to create the necessary conditions to ensure the trans community has access to their rights. ANIT works for trans inclusion in social and economic life in Nicaragua, regardless of socioeconomic and cultural background. This is achieved through political advocacy, promotion of healthcare rights and education, and provision of services for the prevention of STIs, HIV and AIDS.
This 2-day workshop took place from 25-26 April 2018 in Managua, Nicaragua, with 14 trans activists.
