Luc O’Leary

For his undergraduate dissertation, Luc spent a year researching the global network of anti-gender mobilisation and their specific characteristics in order to build a framework of understanding of these networks.

Luc then applied this framework to the United Kingdom in order to identify burgeoning mobilizations and how to better understand the British TERF movement and partially the US evangelical movement. He received first-class honors in his dissertation, which is currently one of the few pieces of research that situates the United Kingdom within ongoing anti-gender mobilization.

In Ireland, these is a growing influence of British TERF-ism on Irish trans politics, as well as a growing local reactionary movement
