Ymania was a driving force in the fight for trans rights. She was a strong leader, a passionate voice for the global trans movement, and a mother-figure to many trans activists and individuals around the world.
Her loss is devastating, to the trans movement as a whole, to TGEU as their leader, but most of all to those who knew and loved her best, in particular her family. Our deepest condolences to her sons, her family, her friends and her community.
