For GATE, 2019 was a year marked by collaborative processes; we organized and co-organized, facilitated and participated in multiple trainings, workshops, meetings and conferences, as well as providing peer-to-peer mentorship, and we contributed to informing the work of donors supporting our movements.
One of our biggest achievements during 2017 was our participation in collective initiatives and collaborative efforts. In times of ferocious competition for scarce resources, we are proud members of political communities that are investing in mutual cooperation. The past year showed clearly how sharing our passion is the best way to multiplying its impact.
This annual report gives an account of GATE's work during 2016. It tells about the different ways in which we worked, as a team and with numerous partners, to face a challenging year for our constituencies around the world. In that sense, this is not only a report about last year but a roadmap for the future.
