Activist Delegation to 25th WPATH Symposium

Akahatá, GATE, ILGA World and TGEU have brought together 50 intersex, trans and gender diverse activists from around the world to Buenos Aires, Argentina for the 25th WPATH Symposium from 2-6 November 2018. Akahatá, GATE, ILGA World and TGEU have brought together 50 intersex, trans and gender diverse activists from around the world to Buenos Aires, Argentina for the 25th WPATH Symposium from 2-6 November 2018.

Activists will meet for 2 days prior to the start of the WPATH Symposium to discuss depathologization and our presence in the Symposium to ensure that the voices of intersex, trans and gender diverse people are heard, as the communities most affected by the work and positions of WPATH, in particular its Standards of Care.
