Global Fund Monitoring and Oversight Tool for Transgender Communities
This tool and accompanying training guide, which are a compilation and adaptation of various resources available to civil society and developed by key agencies providing support to communities and civil society organizations, aim to build the monitoring and oversight capacity of the transgender communities engaged in Global Fund processes.

The World AIDS Conference 2018 is being held in Amsterdam from 23-28 July, with pre-conferences on 21-22 July. GATE is participating in several pre-conferences and numerous sessions during the main conference, as well as co-hosting the Trans Networking Zone with IRGT - A Network of Trans Women and HIV.

On trans depathologization, mental health and stigma: ICD-11 is released
The unfolding news of the World Health Organization removing trans-related categories from the chapter on mental health at the International Classification of Diseases, while a welcome step forward in depathologization of trans identities, makes necessary for us to express our disagreement and discomfort with a rationale made explicit by WHO.

Press Release: CRG Strategic Initiatives Project
GATE is proud to announce that we have commenced our Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) Strategic Initiatives project, which focuses on developing skills and building the capacity of transgender communities to meaningfully engage with Global Fund processes in areas of HIV, malaria and tuberculosis.
