GATE, in collaboration with WHO, UNAIDS, and FCAA, has prepared a set of recommendations to help donors and other key stakeholders to support, partner with, and fund community-led responses.
The session will illustrate the current anti-rights atmosphere and demonstrate how the anti-gender movement links inextricably to restrictions to healthcare access for trans and gender diverse people. Panelists will showcase how the growing anti-gender movement affects the response to HIV, harm reduction, and sexual and reproductive rights services overall.
GATE addressed concerns regarding gender dimensions of disinformation and its implications for freedom of expression and gender justice under a submission to the Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression and Opinion.
